BIZWORKS INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

BizWorks is a nonprofit resource that curates business best practices to help entrepreneurs address the uncertainty of entrepreneurship. Our goal is to help these business owners create and execute sustainable business models that will enable ideas to germinate, startups to survive, and microbusinesses to grow. We believe these business segments are the growth engines of our economy and the job catalyst for low and moderate-income communities.

As such, we seek to promote entrepreneurism to students of all ages. We are currently looking for Interns with approximately 90-120 hours of availability this to work with us on critical projects. These projects will require Interns that possess an intellectual curiosity, strong analytical ability, and work ethic.

The projects center on three main areas:

  • Curating entrepreneurial best practices.
  • Researching the Incubator Ecosystem.
  • Researching grant opportunities.

Additionally, the Interns will support our work with our Members, Partners, and Team when called upon to assist in:

  • Social Media activities.
  • Programs and training sessions.
  • Administrative duties.
  • Representation of BizWorks at networking and corporate events.

In return for their hard work, Interns will receive an opportunity to learn about Entrepreneurship from one of the premier organizations in the State. Interns will learn the latest platforms created by entrepreneurial thought leaders including Steve Blank, Eric Reis, and Alex Osterwalder. This experience will be a significant milestone in the Intern’s education and provide them with the tools to compete with their contemporaries.
